Problem

The machine disconnects during a job.

Solution

Use a short, good-quality USB cable or a stable Ethernet connection where supported. Avoid USB hubs. Disable USB sleep/selective suspend on Windows. Keep USB cables away from high-voltage power supplies, chillers, compressors, and other noisy electrical devices. If the machine supports Ethernet, use it for long jobs.
