The laser moves but does not fire from LightBurn.

Solution

For GRBL machines, verify $32=1 for laser mode and make sure LightBurn S-value max matches the controller $30 value. For DSP machines, check min/max power settings and safety interlocks. For CO2 lasers, confirm water protection and lid switches are satisfied.
